The company Akord is specializes in sand casting of non-ferrous metals (especially brass, yellow brass, aluminium). Maximum weight of the cast is currently 70kg by aluminium and about 200kg by brass and yellow brass. The material we use are alloys in compliance with CSN or DIN standart with guaranteed chemical composition in accordance with given specifications of the customer.
Besides the foundry there is a metal workshop with ability to process the casts according to requests of the customer or to provide independent custom works: metal cutting up to 900mm diameter and 2750mm length, milling, welding in shielding gas, boring, threading, grinding, sanding and so on.
Our products are mostly designed for further use in industries - as cogwheels of worm-gear units, vanes of hydraulic turbines, bearing cages, nuts, covers, valve casing beams and so on.
Second part of our production are supplies of piecework brass fittings, ferrules, handles and so on, mostly for reconstruction of listed buildings. These casts are produced also in a small amount according to preserved samples.
